About Kaitlyn Smith

I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2021 with my Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design. Throughout the professional experience I've had thus far, I have had many opportunities to work on some inspiring projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way.

Improved the new hire onboarding experience by developing a three week long training program for the Outside Plant Construction department. Worked and managed SME relations to obtain training program content and lead a review group to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

  • Created a portfolio of job aids and videos to guide associates through a new software process to enhance their software experience.

Spread awareness and encourage behavioral health and wellness to people struggling with behavioral health challenges through development of educational e-Learning courses and videos. Facilitate individuals to help expand healthcare knowledge through the interpretation of complex research.

  • Supported individuals suffering from mental illnesses by effectively establishing nine-module program to reduce utilization of tobacco products.

Create and narrate innovative / attractive videos as part of e-Learning courses by employing several software applications to highlight major concepts. Deliver support to clients by coaching document and course organization in Learning Management System (LMS). Support customers through development of instructional job aids.

Worked closely with subject matter experts (SME’s) to understand the complex job processes in order to create job aids for increased effectiveness and clarity. Facilitated the on-boarding of new hires by planning and creating various e-Learning courses related to complex job functions.

  • Trained new hires related to diverse job functions via development and narration of 50+ videos.
